filming in Cannon Beach April 23.
It comes as no surprise to 20-year-old Kathryn Dueber’s parents, Peter and Laurie of Cannon Beach, that one day they just might see their daughter’s name lit up on a billboard somewhere.
“She was born theatrical,” Peter said. “I think the theater here had a lot to do with it. She started doing theater when she was 6 or 7 years old. She went to so many practices. At first she was too young and it broke her heart to get turned down.”
But ever since her first role, in the Coaster Theatre production of “Annie,” Kathryn has known that the stage — either acting or singing — is where she wanted to spend her career. And the way it is looking, she is going to get her wish.
